Now that there are seven of them living in the house, there's a good chance someone will be in the kitchen at any given time. Today, it's Beth who's there.
Immediately, Emily's shoulders tense a little. She has yet to apologize to Beth (too much shit going on at once, sorry). With any luck, Hannah will have told Beth that Emily said she was sorry about the prank, and that'll make it easier to say the same to Beth when the time comes.
For now, though, she's not really up for opening with that, so she goes to fill a pot with water.]
